  10     <p>The latest release is <b>4.20</b>.  This is a minor upgrade
  11     on the <b>4.1x</b> series of releases, however the documentation
  12     has been updated to match.</p>

  14     <p>New features are documented in the CHANGES and NewStuff files.</p>

  16     <p> All versions of exim
  17     previous to version <b>4.x</b> are now considered obsolete and
  18     everyone is  <b>strongly</b> recommended to upgrade to a current
  19     release.</p>

  21     <p>The last 3.x release wass <b>3.36</b>.</p>

  23     <p>There may be beta versions with available from the ftp sites in
  24     the Testing directory.  Many people are using these without
  25     problems, but they are not recommended unless you are willing to
  26     work with beta software.</p>
