  10     <p>The latest release is <b>4.71</b>. This is a feature and bug fix release in the
  11     <b>4.xx</b> series of releases - see the <a
  12     href="mirrors.html">download</a> pages. Documentation was updated for
  13     4.71.</p>

  15     <p> All versions of exim previous to version <b>4.x</b> are now
  16     obsolete and everyone is <b>very strongly</b> recommended to
  17     upgrade to a current release.</p>

  19     <p>The last 3.x release was <b>3.36</b>.  It is obsolete and should not be used.</p>

  21     <p>There may be beta versions with available from the ftp sites in
  22     the Testing directory.  Many people are using these without
  23     problems, but they are not recommended unless you are willing to
  24     work with beta software.</p>
